Kristin Miserocchi

Dr. Kristin Miserocchi (she/her) is a Staff Psychologist and the Groups Coordinator at Washington University’s Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (in St. Louis, MO). She received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2014 and received her Certified Group Psychotherapy credential in 2024. As a U.S.-born, cisgender, heterosexual, White woman, Kristin very intentionally adopts a multicultural orientation in all aspects of her life and work, aspiring to interact with the world around her with openness and humility. She regularly engages in critical self-reflection related to her own cultural lived experiences, and she prioritizes culturally focused continuing education in her own professional and personal development. In her personal life, she loves her iPad jigsaw puzzles, loves watching true crime docs, and, most importantly, she loves being a parent to her neuro-spicy 6 year-old kiddo. Administrative Executive

Division 49 met a critical milestone this year in contracting with an associate management company for an Administrative Executive. This position provides essential support in the daily administrative management, while strengthening systems and processes along the way. As a result, volunteer leadership are able to focus their time, energy, and talents on member experience enhancement projects, and meeting the Division’s goals and mission. Members are by the position in helping navigate communication and processes within the Division and APA.
This spring, Division 49 welcomed David P. DeVito as its first Administrative Executive. David brings a wealth of knowledge and experience not only in the administration of nonprofit membership organizations, but as a nearly 20-year employee of the American Psychological Association (APA). His APA career started in membership development in the Central Office, and then in the Public Interest Directorate where he supported and led the federally funded SAMHSA HIV Office for Professional Education, and the CDC’s Safe and Supported Schools Project.
David holds a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from the George Washington University. Since completing his undergraduate degree, he has primarily worked in nonprofit membership organizations. He is based in Charlottesville, VA. He welcomes the opportunity to assist members.
